This is a interior concept for Bee Bar Lounge in Malmö. The goal was to develop an ethical and ecologically sustainable concept where a great variety of people would feel welcome. Living room was a keyword throughout the project, in the sense that I wanted the visitors to feel uninhibited and comfortable to move around in and use the room. I wanted this to be a place where the visitors can be themselves.
Funktions areas
I created three fictional characters who became the framework for the atmosphere and features of the room areas, so that the room would appeal to a wide audience used to different kinds of settings and visits the lounge/livingroom for various reasons.
But the aim is to never have to hard-drawn boundaries between the different parts of the room. The hope is that all the areas would feel dynamic and that guests will enjoy themselves, and feel relaxed wherever they are in the room.
